Consider other's opinions but don't care so much.
We all have our own unique perspective of life. Each perspective is a valid point of view of experience whether the individual is living for for love or living through falsehoods or fear. Now, to be concerned about how others’ view to the extent that you adapt yourself to fulfill their perspective, is suicide. This is because you are killing your own perspective, thus, eliminating your own existence and experience. Experience is manifest though perspective. Live other’s perspectives manifests their experiences. Let’s think about that again for a second so your subconscious really grasps it instead of pretending it already knows it. If you override your perspective and filter life through another’s perspective, you are living their truth and experiences - not your own. You killed “you.” This is not to say we cannot be inspired by others’ perspectives to expand our own because inspiration for self expansion is still living your own truth and perspective. Artists use the same tools and colors yet paint different and unique expressions of art. Those that rip off others’ art, are not artists - just copycats. Usually those who are so concerned with others opinions are insecure of their own - thus attempting to satisfy the opinions of others. That’s what we call “people pleasers.”
How do we maintain a strong foundation of truth in a sea of misinformation during such a chaotic time?
Maintaining a strong foundation of truth requires three things: A broad perspective, intellect, and discernment. It’s important to understand that intellect doesn’t equal reciting news articles. That would just make one a repeater or a narrative pusher. A news article is one person’s perspective (mostly opinion) about a specific topic. To tout their information as fact is not intellect, rather, it is one playing the game of telephone (repeating a narrative.) Having a broad perspective requires you to look at all points of view while finding the common thread while also eliminating opinions and biases based purely off negative emotion (usually fear.) Once you have a good idea on a larger scope, applying intellect to a situation to inspire the best solution(s) would be rather obvious. This is where our discernment kicks in. Our discernment is simply our intuition. That gut feeling. We all have it! Most have it filtered out through false narratives, fear, and anger. This is why having a broad perspective on life will eliminate such interferences. Your discernment will easily spot out the falsehoods and will organically pull you towards the truth.
Doesn’t everyone have their “own truth?”
Yes and no. Everyone can have their own truth on how they’ve experienced certain things in their own life. One’s own truth is also their own formula for happiness and their optimal state of being. Everyone’s individual truth is always different. However, one cannot have their own truth when it comes to the fundamentals of life. For example, gravity is gravity whether one denies it or not. It is fundamental. The key is to have your truth aligned with fundamental truths, truths of the universe, and truths of the higher power to which many call God. Otherwise, a person’s life will continue to be fragmented. You can see this prominently in our society today.
How should you react when people insult your intelligence?
It’s not so much about a reaction you have to ponder vs considering the essence of the situation. First, understand a person of great intellect would never look down or diminish the perspective of another. A person of great intellect would consider the other person’s perspective and either try to comprise on the information, or patiently try to expand the idea. Or, they would simply enjoy the sharing of dialogue between two different points of view. They would also clearly see that a person is attempting to gain insight and would respect it. Those who need to fight to be right are functioning in a 2 dimensional perspective, robbing others and themselves the opportunity for peace and clarity.
Now is the time more then ever that we have a broader perspective, so that we can have the intellect and discernment to support fundamental, universal and individual truths together.
The mainstream media and the career politicians on both sides, are the main cause of these falsehoods because their primary agenda is the suppression of human consciousness for control. History really is repeating itself. But, once everyone awakens to these truths, as I explained above, those whom have been creating the chaos will no longer have the power or influence to do so any longer. These systems have already been starting to collapse. People are awakening to the evils that have been hidden for so long. The more we keep educating ourselves, the ignorance in this world will no longer have a dominant effect on how we shape our world. The media uses their narratives to suppress consciousness and uses the weak and gullible to build up their narratives.
Don't deny everything right away and don’t believe everything right way either. The first step is to consider everything. Then, use your intellect to do a process of elimination. Then, use your intuition/discernment to guide you and keep your perspective free from the filter of fear. Besides God/The Universe, this is the only thing WE can do to end the cycle of chaos while expanding our minds with knowledge.
