Perspective of Ego and Spirit.

So, what is this thing man calls ego? The term ego has a lot of derogatory connotations associated with it. When most people hear of ego, they think of a selfish, overconfident, rude person. Well, that is partially true. Let's start by talking about what the ego REALLY is, and then why it actually starts to show a negative reflection.

The ego simply is the "confidence" man has to sustain physical reality without question. I will list the examples below.

We can breathe without questioning. We can use all our physical senses without fail and without question. We don't question gravity, nor find it miraculous. We accept the process of weather, and the physics of this reality without question. We poo without miracle. lol'

As you can see, all these things that make up physical reality we don't question, unless you study physics to further expand knowing this reality. But by default we confidently live without fearing or questioning the things that make us, us.

Now, this is where the higher mind comes in. The higher mind is what man may call "spirit" or consciousness. Who you TRULY are. From your non-physical perspective, your higher self knows all the things that are going to happen. Can perceive and receive the non-tangible vibrations. It has the true understanding of who we truly are, where we come from and why we CHOOSE to experience physical reality. Now, when you cut yourself off from your higher mind, the ego and physical brain is what is left to do the navigating. That's where it becomes a "problem" and arrogance, rudeness, and selfishness will be the manifestations of such, indicating that detachment. For the ego has to OVERCOMPENSATE for the detachment from your higher self. The true pilot.

Your higher mind always is speaking and giving us signs and clues, even when we have "gone to lunch" or "closed shop." Living life trying to navigate through physical reality with just your physical mind and ego, can be a challenging, confusing, and a "dramatic" experience. For then the ego must step in and say "I can take care of this." When in essence, it's always saying that to keep us alive and functioning in physical reality as I stated earlier. Then the physical mind has to process problems and cycle through till it finds a solution for it, WHICH it never does and never will. You see the physical mind is here to help us store information and language. Can tell our bodies how to move, can store our preferences. Even simple stuff like remembering how to type, ride a bike, you know, stuff like that. It is also great to process data, like formulas and calculations and memories of stuff we store. You get the picture of my scattered definitions. lol. So with that, if you overload the brain with trying to figure out an emotional problem, or even a guidance problem, you will struggle until you give up. The physical brain is only able to tell you what is HAPPENING, not what is going to happen. Your higher mind is only able to tell you what is going to happen.

Now, I used the word struggle because struggle is unnecessary. We seek challenge. So if you are struggling with something, you are relying only on ego and your physical mind. Most humans will fight against this and spend weeks, months, and even years fighting and struggling with something, until they are forced into alignment with their higher mind, then they get what they want. Then humans will say "well, I fought for it." And from a non-physical perspective, we say: No, you didn't fight for it, you spent an unnecessary amount of time fighting, that you got tired and then got into alignment. All you had to do was see the situation, channel your higher mind, receive your knowledge and guidance, get into alignment with it, and then instantly change to your new preferred reality - Naturally. Done deal. It's like the person that says: "It took a thousand "no's" to get that one "yes" as they say in a faux excitement. And I say from a non-physical perspective: Well, you were out of alignment with you and your desire a thousand times, struggled, then finally got what you desired once you aligned with "you." I used the word struggle because struggling is unnecessary. We seek challenge and excitement. That is why we are here in physical reality. That's why anything else is unnecessary struggle. That's why people feel hopeless or depressed. That is why people feel stuck. That is why people feel detached. That is why people feel like there are others out to get them. That is why they have NO JOY. To cut yourself off from who you TRULY are is, well, detached, hopeless, depressing, and you be stuck with no joy for living. - Scott
